Late flights are common here — plenty of long-haul routes and regional connections land well after dark, some past midnight — and a night arrival is a genuinely different problem: fewer people around, no one obvious to ask, and a drive that can take well over an hour if your hotel is on the south or west coast.
None of that is a reason to worry. It is a reason to have the one thing that matters — how you get to your hotel — settled before you board, so the only decision left when you land is which direction to walk.
Book the transfer before you fly
This is the single change that makes a night arrival easy instead of stressful. Book ahead with your flight number, and your driver is tracking the actual landing time rather than the printed schedule — if the flight is delayed to 1am instead of 11pm, that is already accounted for, not something you have to explain to anyone at the terminal.
