We agree on an exact pickup point with you before your trip — for example a spot right outside arrivals, or a nearby landmark such as a 7-Eleven. Before the trip we send you the driver’s name, photo, vehicle photo and licence plate by email and WhatsApp, and the driver can also call or message you directly to coordinate. If you cannot find each other, message us on WhatsApp and we will connect you immediately.

It depends on where you’re going. As a guide: about ฿500 to the closest north-island beaches like Mai Khao, ฿700–850 to Bang Tao, Surin or Kamala, and ฿1,000–1,100 to Patong, Karon or Kata further south. Every price is fixed and agreed before you fly — see our full price list, or message us your hotel name for an exact quote.

Nothing bad! You give us your flight number when booking, and we track it. Your driver adjusts to the actual landing time at no extra charge. If a delay is very long we will message you with an updated plan.

You pay the driver directly at the end of your ride — cash (Thai Baht) or Thai bank transfer. No prepayment, no credit card needed, and the price is exactly what you saw when you booked. Online payment options are coming soon.

Yes. The price you see when booking is the full price — it already includes fuel, tolls and airport parking. No meter, no night surcharge surprises, no luggage fees for normal luggage. If your plan changes (extra stop, different hotel), tell us and we confirm any new price before the trip, never during it.

All of them. Every IslandTransfer driver holds a public transport driving licence and drives a legally registered, licensed vehicle. We started this platform with drivers we personally know and trust, and every new driver is vetted before joining.

You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before pick-up — just message us. Within 24 hours, contact us on WhatsApp and we will do our best to help. Changing pick-up time or address is usually no problem at all.

Not at the moment — we don’t currently provide child car seats or boosters. If you’re travelling with young children, please bring your own and let us know its size when booking so the driver can fit it in.

All communication before the trip goes through us in English (and soon Arabic). During the ride, our drivers use translation apps and are used to international guests. For anything complicated, message our support chat and we will translate and coordinate for you in real time.

Because you get a person, not an algorithm. Our drivers are local Phuket people we personally selected — not anonymous gig workers. Prices are fixed before you book. And when something goes wrong at 11 pm, a real human who knows your booking answers you. We are a small local network, and we like it that way.

We recommend booking at least 24 hours ahead so we can guarantee your preferred vehicle. We confirm your driver within 6 hours — usually much faster during Thai daytime. Last-minute? Message us on WhatsApp and we will try our best.

No — Uber left Thailand in 2018 and Lyft has never operated outside North America, so neither app will find you a car here. See our Uber in Phuket page for details, or just message us on WhatsApp and we confirm your driver and price before you fly.

Yes. Many of our drivers are Thai Muslims from Phuket’s local communities. They can recommend halal restaurants and mosques, and are happy to plan trips around prayer times — just mention it when booking.

Yes — for trips leaving from Phuket we work with local speedboat operators for private charters: island hopping, fishing trips, or a custom day out on your own boat, not a shared tour. You can book just the boat, just the car to the pier, or both together with the timing planned as one trip. Boat prices depend on the boat size, your group and where you want to go, so message us on WhatsApp with your dates, number of people and what you have in mind and we will come back with a quote. If your boat leaves from a pier in Phang Nga or Krabi instead, we handle the road transfer to the pier — you arrange the boat with your operator there.
