Airport / hotel ↔ hospital · driver can wait
A taxi to the hospital, with a driver who waits
Book a private car or van to any hospital in Phuket. If your appointment takes a while, your driver can wait nearby and be ready the moment you come out — no standing outside trying to flag a ride home. We are a taxi service only: not a medical escort, not affiliated with any hospital.

What we do — and what we don't
We would rather you know exactly what to expect before you book.
We do
- Pick you up and drop you at the hospital entrance, on time
- Wait with the car during your appointment if you book waiting time
- Help carry bags and fold a wheelchair into the boot
- Bring you back afterwards, or to your next stop
- Give you a simple payment receipt for your records
We don't
- We are not an ambulance — no oxygen, no stretcher, no medical equipment
- No wheelchair-accessible vehicle (with a ramp or lift) in our fleet yet
- We do not go in with you, book appointments, or handle paperwork
- We are not affiliated with any hospital, doctor or insurance company
- We cannot issue a tax invoice / VAT receipt

Questions people ask
Are you affiliated with the hospital?+
No. IslandTransfer is an independent local taxi service. We are not partnered with, employed by, or endorsed by any hospital in Phuket — we simply provide transport.
Can your driver wait during my appointment?+
Yes. Book waiting time when you reserve — minimum 3 hours. Your driver parks nearby and is ready the moment you are done, so you are not left waiting outside for a ride.
Do you have a wheelchair-accessible vehicle?+
No — we do not have a vehicle with a wheelchair ramp or lift in our fleet. If you use a manual wheelchair, our driver can fold it into the boot and help you transfer into the car seat, but if you need a vehicle you can stay seated in your wheelchair inside, please look for a specialist wheelchair-accessible transport service instead.
Is this a medical transport or ambulance service?+
No. We are a private taxi service — a comfortable car or van with a licensed local driver. We carry no medical equipment and our drivers have no medical training. For any medical emergency, always call an ambulance.
Can I get a receipt?+
Yes, we can provide a simple payment receipt showing the date, route and amount paid, for your own records or to claim back from an employer. This is not a tax invoice / VAT receipt, which we are unable to issue.
Do you book my hospital appointment for me?+
No. We only provide the ride. Appointments, paperwork, insurance and anything inside the hospital are between you and the hospital.
Tell us your appointment time — we quote the ride in minutes.
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pick-up. We usually confirm within a couple of hours.
