Nothing is charged when you book
IslandTransfer has no online payment at all and never asks for card details. The price is agreed in writing first, and you settle directly with your driver on the day you travel — cash in Thai Baht or Thai bank transfer.
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pick-up
Plans change. Cancel more than 24 hours before your pick-up time and there is nothing to pay and nothing to refund, because we never took any money in the first place.
One price per vehicle, not per person
A family of four pays the same as a solo traveller. Fuel, tolls and airport parking are already inside the number you are quoted — there is no per-passenger surcharge and no luggage fee for normal luggage.
Airport meet & greet, free
On every airport pick-up a member of our team holds a name sign with your name at arrivals, so you walk out and see it straight away. Many operators sell this as a paid add-on — with IslandTransfer it is simply included.
Flight tracking at no extra cost
Give us your flight number and we watch it. If you land late your driver adjusts and you are not billed for the waiting time — on every airport booking, not as a paid add-on.
Extra hours at the same fixed rate
If a private-driver day runs long, extra hours are ฿300 an hour for any vehicle — the rate is the same whether you booked a sedan or a 9-seat van, and it is agreed before you start, not invented at the end.
Discount codes after every trip
Completed trips earn ฿50 discount codes — one for every full ฿1,000 paid. They arrive on WhatsApp once your trip is done, there is no account to create and no minimum spend when you use one, and they stay valid for a year.
Every fixed price is published on the prices page — airport zones, piers, day trips, intercity routes and hourly rates.
Questions about prices and discounts
Do I need a discount code to get a good price?＋
No. IslandTransfer prices are the same for everyone and are published on the prices page — there is no inflated list price waiting for a code to bring it down. Codes earned after a trip come off that already-fixed price.
Is there a deposit or booking fee?＋
No. Nothing is charged when you book and we never ask for card details. The only exception is multi-day trips, where a refundable security deposit is collected in cash on the first day and then deducted from your final ride, so your trip total is unchanged.
Do you offer a discount for return or round-trip bookings?＋
Tell us both legs when you enquire and we quote the round trip as one job — for intercity routes that means your driver waits at the destination and brings you back, at a single agreed price rather than two separate fares. Message us with your plan and we will send the number before you commit.
How do I use a discount code?＋
Enter it on the booking form, or just mention it when you message us on WhatsApp. It comes off the fixed price, and because nothing is charged at booking you will simply pay the reduced amount to your driver on the day.
